Puma. I appreciate it greatly. And I love yours and Tim's thoughts on Daniel Pinchbeck's 2012 thing. It's just the hipster version of the fundamentalist Rapture, one that self-identified progressives can feel less weird about accepting; but the underlying assumptions are the same: "terrible isht is going to go down and only a few people who deserve to live, will, so you better follow my script cuz there's nothing you can do about it! It's all gonna happen exactly like I say!" At best, it's a foolish waste of time; at worst, it's a very dangerous totalitarian tunnel reality grasping to create it's violent self-fulfillment while disguising itself with a bunch of granola and rainbow beads.
