A Gnostic Prayer to the Light

Based on the Lord’s Prayer to the Father from The Dialogue of the Saviour:
So when you offer praise, do so like this:
Hear our priase, Father,
Just as you heard your only-begotten Son,
And took him to yourself.You have given us rest from many labors.
Your power is perfect.
Your aspects are Eternal.
Your light is alive because your Wisdom is alive.
The true Word has brought repentance for life,
And this has come from you.
You are the thought and the supreme serenity
Of those who are solitary.Again, hear us as you have heard your chosen.
Through your sacrifice may we enter.
Through our good works may we free our souls
From blindness and forms,
So that we may come to be eternal.Amen.
