This adventure into the "mundane" has been swirling around my meditations recently. One of my favorite practices is to appreciate the forgotten patch of grass alongside a dusty road. As you mention, cathedrals, flowers and puppy-dogs aren't the whole enchilada. It's about the dusty road, too.

Good post. Excellent perceptions. Thanks so much.

Jeremy,

I am glad you pointed out that "reality" is an imperfect illusion. For me, without awareness, it is fractional-ized or seen in discreet bits, but when you are clear, everything is seen, almost like a hologram. Then "reallity" becomes "Reallity".

My mantra of late has been, "The Divine is in everything I see, because the Divine is in my mind".

You know, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", and "smile and the world smiles with you", type thing.

When I am communing, the whole of nature communes with me :-)

Like in Quantum Mechanics, the observer affects the observed.

I love it when science and spirituality come together. I think this is why I being drawn to Gnosticism at this time. Whilst it accepts and promotes the mystery, it also creates a paradigm in which to place the experience.
